The group were formed in Gloucestershire in 1970. At the end of the year they were ready for their first gig which was at The Revolution in London. They signed for Bronze Records and in 1971 recorded the debut self titled album. In 1972 Paladin recorded their second album, Charge, that not only was recorded at Apple Studios, but had a cover design by Roger Dean. However after frustrations of lack of success Paladin broke up at the end of the same year.
