BAND INFORMATION

The Tornados originally were used as a support band for Billy Fury. Recording on the Decca Record label, The Tornados were once seen as a serious rival to The Shadows. However the popularity of instrumental bands were hit with the increased excitement of the new Merseybeat sound. By the time that The Tornados played The 76 Club, no original members were in the band.
